Demaco T. Gaines is an emerging artist living and working in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Growing up he always showed an interest in the arts but only discovered his talents recently and has begun expanding on this passion. His focus is on oil and acrylic paintings with a passion for still life portraits. He refined this technique while attending Ann Foster Brush Stroke classes in 2007. His passion for still life portrait's was formed and grew while he attended the Westervelt Institute in 2010. At Westervelt he discovered Ruth O'Connor's work and she became a major influence on his work. Crafting a clean and prescise style he as set his work apart and created a vision of his own.
